Tanisha Blakely
Tanisha Blakely is a seasoned digital media professional with a passion for storytelling. She has worked online as a journalist, editor, senior product manager, and producer for popular consumer brands; such as, AOL, American Express Publishing, New York magazine, Nickelodeon and Vibe magazine. More recently her production company Social Licks began filming a documentary series titled “How I Got Over,” which profiles ordinary people triumphing over tragedy.
The Detroit native spent her teenage years in Chicago, where she attended Columbia College Chicago and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Magazine Journalism. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York where she balances her life as a digital product manager and film producer.
